The short version
LIFT IRL is local-first. Your workout data lives in your browser's storage on your device. We do not require an account, and by default your workouts never leave your device.
What we store on your device
Workouts, sets, templates, personal records, settings, and comparison history are stored in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB and localStorage). Clearing your browser data deletes them. You can export or delete all data at any time from Settings.
Share links
If you create a share link, the shared numbers (total weight, comparison, duration, set count) are encoded directly in the link itself. Anyone with the link can view those numbers. Exercise-level details are not included. Nothing is stored on our servers.
Analytics
If analytics are enabled for a deployment, we collect anonymous product events (for example "workout_completed") without personal identifiers, workout contents, or precise location. No analytics vendor is enabled by default.
Optional cloud accounts
If a future version offers cloud backup and you opt in, your workout data would be stored with our hosting provider to enable sync, and this policy will be updated first.
